Welcome to Lakshmi Stores! Before you place an order with us, please take a few minutes to read through these Terms & Conditions. They are straightforward and tell you exactly what to expect when shopping with us. By placing an order, you agree to these terms so it is worth having a quick read first.

1. About Us
We run the online shop at https://www.lakshmistores.com.
Our store is based at: 02 Pontefract Street, Allenton, Derby, DE24 8JD, England, UK.
2. Placing Your Order
We are happy to accept orders from customers outside the UK as well. However, if you are ordering from abroad, please note that any disputes will be handled under the laws of England and Wales.
When you place an order with us, it means you are at least 18 years old and legally allowed to enter into a purchase agreement. If you are ordering on behalf of someone else, you take full responsibility for the order.
Order Timings – Please Read Carefully- Place your order before 1:30 PM for same-day dispatch. Please note, this is an estimated dispatch time and not a guaranteed delivery time.
- Garlands are available on pre-order only please order at least 2 to 3 days in advance so we can arrange them fresh for you.
- Meat and seafood items are also pre-order only, and we dispatch these on specific days only.
- Dispatch days: Wednesdays and Fridays only.
- For Wednesday dispatch → please place your order before Tuesday at 1:00 PM
- For Friday dispatch → please place your order before Thursday at 1:00 PM
- Fresh vegetables, fruits, and flowers depend on what is available at the market that day. If something you have ordered is not available, one of our team members will get in touch with you directly.
- Frozen items are always packed with proper temperature-controlled packaging to keep them safe during delivery. This is mandatory and non-negotiable for food safety reasons.
3. How Your Order Works
Once you place an order, you will receive an email from us confirming that we have received it. Please note this is just an acknowledgement, not a confirmation that your order has been accepted.
Your order is officially confirmed only when we send you a Dispatch Confirmation email telling you that your items are on their way. The contract between us is formed at that point.
4. Cancellations & Returns
Cancelling a Standard Order
If you are a regular consumer customer, you have the right to cancel your order within 15 working days from the day after you receive your items. We will give you a full refund as per our refunds policy.
To cancel, please let us know in writing (email is fine). You will need to return the items to us as soon as possible, and the return postage cost is your responsibility. Please take good care of the items while they are with you if they are returned damaged due to mishandling, we may need to claim compensation.
Items That Cannot Be Cancelled
Because of their perishable nature, the following items cannot be cancelled or returned once the order has been placed:
- Frozen products
- Fresh vegetables
- Fruits
- Leaves (Keerai)
- Flowers
- Garland
Please make sure you are happy with your order before confirming it for these items.
Personalised Items (e.g. Banners, Cards)
If you are ordering a personalised product, please double-check everything before submitting:
- Make sure any images you upload are clear and good quality.
- Check all text carefully we will print exactly what you type, including any spelling mistakes. We do not make corrections on your behalf.
- A preview (proof read) is shown on screen before you confirm your order please use this to review your content. The preview is for guidance only and may appear in lower resolution on screen
5. Delivery
We will aim to deliver your order by the date mentioned in your Dispatch Confirmation. If no date is given, we will deliver within a reasonable timeframe. In rare cases where there are exceptional circumstances beyond our control, delivery may be delayed we will do our best to keep you informed.
Delivery will be made to the address you provide during checkout, so please make sure it is correct.
6. Ownership & Responsibility for Your Items
Once your order has been delivered to your address, it becomes your responsibility. If anything goes missing or gets damaged after delivery, we are unfortunately unable to take responsibility for that.
Please note that the items remain legally ours until we have received full payment from you, including any delivery charges.
7. Pricing & Payment
All prices shown on our website include VAT. Prices and delivery charges can change from time to time, but any changes will not affect an order for which you have already received a Dispatch Confirmation.
If VAT rates change between the time you place your order and when it is delivered, we may adjust the VAT accordingly unless you have already paid in full.
Pricing Errors
We try our best to keep all prices accurate on our website. However, if we spot a pricing mistake during dispatch:
- If the correct price is lower than what was shown we will charge you the lower amount. No worries there.
- If the correct price is higher than what was shown we will contact you before dispatching, or we may cancel and notify you.
- If the error was something that should have been obviously recognisable as a mistake, we are not obliged to honour the incorrect price.

All payments must be made by credit or debit card at the time of ordering.
